Summer Safety Awareness
The homeowners of Meadowbrook are fortunate to have a swimming pool and a park in their community.
Now that summer is upon us and school is out it is time to take some time to talk to our children once again and remind them
of the possible dangers they may face. Please, read the pool rules printed in this newsletter and explain to your children
why they are important to follow. The park has play equipment, which can be dangerous to children, if they are not instructed
to use it properly. For example, children should be told to not walk too close to others using the swings. This is also
a good time to remind children not to talk to strangers and if they see something they feel uncomfortable about they should
leave and go home immediately to report this to you. If you feel there is a possibility that danger may exist, call 911 and
report it. Remember the park is a county park anyone may use it; Meadowbrook does not patrol it or have jurisdiction over
it. Our children deserve to have a safe and happy summer.
