Board Meeting Highlights

The board will be ordering three new tables to be placed in the pool area. They should be installed by the beginning of November. The board has hired a new landscaping company. Simpson Diversified has been contracted since October 1, 2005. If homeowners see any graffiti on the walls, please contact the VPM office. The Board meeting for October has been rescheduled to October 20, 2005, at 6:30 p.m. instead of the 27th. A revised Architectural Review Form is available on the website and in this issue of the newsletter. Please submit the ARC form to the ARC prior to starting any new landscaping or architectural changes.

Architectural Review Committee

Homeowners making any landscape or structural changes to the exterior of their home should fill out an Architectural Improvement Application and Review Form and submit it to VPM prior to beginning any project. Please make sure to include sketches or plans and as much detail as possible.
Homeowners needing ARC forms should contact VPM or go to the Meadowbrook website http://meadowbrook85741.tripod.

Board Notes
Within the last year or so, many homeowners have had their roofs replaced. A part of the replacement included the metal flashing along the edge of the roof. The Board and Architectural Committee have been patient giving homeowners the opportunity to paint the flashing the color of the house trim. The Board and Architectural Committee have decided the time has come to tell homeowners that it is necessary to do this. Noncompliance letters are beginning to be sent to homeowners who have not painted the flashing. This is the type of noncompliance which the Board turns over to the attorney if it is not done within the time limits noted in your noncompliance letter, unless you make arrangements with the Board for an extension. A verbal request to Vision Property Management is not sufficient (Vision does not make the determination for extensions- the Board does); you must send a letter to the Board or attend a Board meeting as noted in your letter to be granted an extension. Thank you for your cooperation!
