Board Meeting Highlights

Homeowners are reminded that the Board and VPM will be enforcing the garbage can/recycle bin policy. If your trash can or recycle bin is left on the sidewalk or in the street for more than one day or is left outside the fence, viewable from the street, you will be sent a violation letter. If you receive up to three violation letters regarding the same issue you will incur fees and the matter will be sent to the attorney for further action. Additionally, attorney's fees have increased to $76.00! You will be billed these fees plus any legal or court costs if you remain in violation of this CCR or any other Meadowbrook CCR.

February Board Meeting

The next Board Meeting is scheduled on February 17, 2005 at 6:30 p.m. at the Fountains. If you plan to come and have a specific concern please contact VPM prior to attending the meeting. Homeowners are encouraged to attend and get involved in their community!

Architectural Review Committee
Homeowners making any landscape or structural changes to the exterior of their home should fill out an Architectural Improvement Application and Review Form and submit it to VPM prior to beginning any project. Please make sure to include sketches or plans and as much detail as possible.Homeowners needing ARC forms should contact VPM or go to the Meadowbrook website http://meadowbrook85741.tripod. com. The ARC meets the 1st Tuesday of each month.

Violations
Since the last inspection 126 violation letters were sent out.
Please keep in mind that if a violation is not corrected in the given amount of time, it will be turned over to an attorney for further action with a minimum cost of $76.00 billed to the homeowner.

Crime Report
During the past month, no crimes were reported to Patty. Remember if you see a crime in progress call 911 immediately. To report a non-emergency crime, please contact the Sheriff's office at 741-4810. Following your report, please contact Patty at 293-5467 to include the crime in the next issue of the Meadowbrook News.. If you have an Animal control issue contact Animal Control at 743-7550.
Please remember to keep all valuables and vehicles secure and out of sight!! We don't want to tempt anyone.

Lost and Found
If you lost an item of value or a family pet, please submit your announcement to the editor at mneditor@hotmail.com by the 1st Thursday of each month.

Recipe Corner
Recipe 4 GRAPEFRUIT FRESHNER
You need:
Peels from 1 medium size grapefruit (about 1 cup)
1 vitamin C tablet
1 cup boiling water

Place the grapefruit peel in a small ceramic or glass bowl. Dissolve the vitamin C tablet in the boiling water and pour the solution over the peels. Allow the mixture to cool completely. When cool, strain the liquid into a clean container.
To use: Apply to the skin with a clean cotton ball or spray bottle.
Store in a cool, dark, dry place.
**You can substitute lemon and orange peels for the grapefruit peel, or try a combination of all three.

What's New
If you haven't had a chance to drive down Edenbrook then you have probably missed our new neighborhood entrance signs. The new Meadowbrook entrance signs have been up since the end of November and they look great! The butterflies are bright orange with some hues of yellow, gold and brown and the Meadowbrook sign is bright gold. The signs and butterflies can be seen on each side of the block entrances at N. Edenbrook and the Meadowbrook sign can also be seen at the Shannon and Sandbrook entrance, West of Edenbrook. Take a look and enjoy the bright and welcome feel you get when coming home to Meadowbrook!

Pool News
Pool season is just around the corner and the Meadowbrook pool is looking great for summer fun! Along with new BBQ pits, the pool resurfacing has been completed! Please remember to abide by all pool rules. Remember that any children under age 14 should be supervised by an adult at all times. There is no lifeguard on duty. Stay safe and follow the rules. Pool hours are 6 am.- 10 p.m. daily.
