ANNUAL MEETING
The Annual Board of Directors' meeting will be held on Thursday April 22,
2004 at 7:00pm at the Fountains.  Letters will be sent out to homeowners to
notify them of the meeting and to remind them to send in their proxy vote.
 
Board Meeting
The next meeting for the Board of Directors is scheduled to take place on
Thursday March 25th, 2004.  It will begin at 7:00pm at the Fountains.
All residents of Meadowbrook are welcome to attend the Board meetings.  If
you plan to come and have a specific concern, please contact VPM prior to
the meeting.


POOL  NEWS
WITH SUMMER IN THE AIR, THE BOARD FELT THAT MARCH IS AN EXCELLENT TIME TO HEAT THE POOL.  THE POOL WILL BE HEATED BEGINNING MARCH 15TH.  PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT IT WILL TAKE CLOSE TO A WEEK FOR THE POOL TO BE AT A COMFORTABLE TEMPERATURE.  REMEMBER TO ADHERE TO THE POOL RULES SO THAT EVERYONE CAN HAVE A SAFE AND ENJOYABLE TIME.

Meadowbrook Community Pool Rules

The use of the pool recreation area is intended for members of the Meadowbrook Community Association. All members have the right and the responsibility to enforce the pool rules.

1. All people swim, use the pool, and the pool area at their own risk. THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY.

2. The pool gates must be closed and locked at all times. Entry to the pool area must be through the gates only. Keys must be the "official" Meadowbrook keys. Keys must not be duplicated. Keys must not be loaned out. Members agree to show their key, if asked.

3. Any child under the age of 14 must be under the direct supervision of a responsible adult 18 years or older AT ALL TIMES. Any member has the right to remove children, who are not supervised, from the pool area AT ANY TIME.

4. NO GLASS. Only unbreakable containers are permitted in the pool area.

5. No pets, bicycles, roller skates, or skateboards are allowed in the pool area.

6. NO DIVING. NO RUNNING. Reckless behaviour that may harm others is forbidden.

7. Radios are to be kept at a level that does not disturb others.

8. Children under the age of 14 may not use the spa without an adult in or directly beside the spa to supervise them. No jumping, splashing, playing, or swimming in the spa.

9. No eating or smoking in the pool or spa. No foreign substances are allowed in the pool or spa.

10. Only "nerf" or "beach" type balls are allowed in the pool area. Use of floating devices or toys cannot interfere with the use of the pool by others. Do not throw any items such as rocks, tennis balls, soda cans, plastic bottles, nails, marbles, coins and the like into the pool or spa.

11. No cutoffs or blue jeans are allowed in the pool or spa.

12. Pool area users are responsible for disposing of trash in the containers.

13. Use life saving equipment only in an emergency. These are not play items and need to be maintained for everyone's safety.

GUEST AND PARTY RULES

1. All guests must be accompanied by an adult member 18 years or older.

2. A group of over 6 guests per home must be registered with the management company during regular business hours.

3. Any group of over 12 people is considered a party and must reserve a time with the management company. The maximum number of people allowed in a party is 20.

4. Two parties will be allowed during a time period. All parties are limited to 4 hours.

5. If extra clean up is necessary after a party, the member may be billed.

6. Party reservations must be made during regular business hours. Advance reservations are recommended to ensure availability.

REGLAS DE LA ALBERCA DE MEADOWBROOK

El uso de la area de recreo de la alberca es para el uso de los miembros de la Comunidad de Meadowbrook. Todos los miembros tienen el derecho y responsabilidad de enforsar las reglas de la alberca.

1. Toda la gente nada, usa la alberca, y el area de la alberca a su propio riesgo. NO HAY NINGUN SALVAVIDAS QUE CUIDE EL AREA.

2. El cerco de la alberca necesita estar cerrado y con llave en todos momentos. La entrada a la area de la alberca debe de ser por el cerco solamente. Las llaves deben de ser las llaves oficiales de Meadowbrook. Las llaves no deben de ser duplicadas. Las llaves no deben de ser prestadas. Los miembros estan de acuerdo de ensenar su llave, si se les pide.

3. Cualquier nino bajo la edad de 14 anos debe de estar bajo directa supervision de un adulto responsable de 18 anos o mas EN TODO TIEMPO. Culaquier miembro tiene el derecho de quitar a ninos, que no estan supervisados, de la alberca EN TODO MOMENTO.

4. NO SE PERMITEN VIDRIOS. Solamente se permite en la area de la alberca contenidores que no se quebran.

5. No se permiten en las area de la alberca animales, bicicletas, patines, o patinetas.

6. NO CLAVADOS. NO CORRIENDO. Esta prohibido hacer actos inapropiados que danaran a otros.

7. Los radios deberan de estar a un nivel que no interrumpan a otros.

8. Ninos menor de 14 anos no deben de usar el spa sin un adulto adentro o directamente al lado del spa para supervisarlos. No brincar, manotear agua, jugando, o nadando en el spa.

9. No comer o fumar en la alberca o el spa. No se permite substancias que no estan relacionadas con la alberca o el spa.

10. Solo se permite en la area de la alberca pelotas estilo nerf o beach. El uso de devisorios para flotar o jugetes no pueden interferir con el uso de la alberca para los demas. No se permite tirar cualquier cosa como piedras, pelotas de tenis, botes de soda, botellas de plastico, clavos, canicas, monedas o cualquier cosa similar a la alberca o el spa.

11. No se permite pantalones cortados o pantalones de mesclia en la alberca o spa.

12. Los que usan el area de la alberca son responsables de tirar la basura de los contenidores.

13. Usen el equipo de salvavidas solo en casos de emergencias. Estos no son para jugar y necesitan estar bien mantenidos para la seguridad de todos.

REGLAS DE INVITADOS Y FIESTAS

1. Todos los invitados deben de ser acompanados por un miembro adulto de 18 anos o mayor.

2. Un grupo de mas de 6 invitados por casa debe de ser registrado con la compania de mantenimiento durante las horas regulares de negocio.

3. Cualquier grupo de mas de 12 personas es considerado una fiesta y se debe de reservar un tiempo con la compania de mantenimiento. El maximo numero de personas que son admitidas para una fiesta es de 20.

4. Se les dejara tener dos fiestas durante un periodo de tiempo. Todas las fiestas tienen un limite de 4 horas.

5. Si es necesario tener extra limpieza despues de una fiesta, se le cobrara al miembro.

6. Reservaciones para fiestas deben de ser hechas durante las horas regulares de negocio. Se recomienda hacer reservaciones por adelantado para asegurar el dia deaseado.

Please SLOW DOWN!

Please remember to drive slowly through the neighborhood.  With the nice
weather and Spring Break approaching there are a lot of children out
playing, and people out walking.   Please be cautious  especially around the
pool and park areas, and "blind" corners.   Please pay attention to yield
and stop signs.

Crime Report
No Crimes were reported to Patty during the month of February.
Remember if you see a crime in progress call 911 immediately.  To report a
non-emergency crime, please contact the Sheriff's office at 741-4900. 
Following your report, please contact Patty at 293-5467 to include the crime
in the next issue of the Meadowbrook News.

Violation Letters
After the last inspection, there were 205 violation letters sent to
homeowners.  If you receive a violation letter please respond promptly. 
Contact VPM with any questions or concerns.

Architectural Review Committee
Homeowners making any structural changes to the exterior of their home
should fill out an Architectural Improvement Application and Review Form and
submit it to Vision Property Management prior to beginning any project. 
Please make sure to include sketches or plans and as much detail as
possible.  The ARC meets on the 1st Tuesday of every month.

Neighborhood Watch
Meadowbrook now has a new Neighborhood Watch Area Leader.  Thank you to all who volunteered, and for all of the block leaders that are involved in
helping to keep our community safe.  The name of the new Area Leader will be announced in next month's Meadowbrook News.  Anyone interested in becoming involved in Neighborhood Watch should still contact Terina McLaren at 408-7978 or email tdmclaren@comcast.net for details. The Annual Neighborhood Watch meeting will be held after the Annual
General meeting for the Association.
