Board Meeting Highlights

It has come to the attention of the Board that several homeowners have converted their garages into multi-purpose rooms. These homeowners should be aware that according to the Meadowbrook CCR's garage conversions are a violation of the CCR's, as well as Pima County fire codes, and need to be removed if selling your home. Please make sure your home is in compliance before selling your home or deciding to remodel.

To keep our community inviting, the Meadowbrook entrance signs are being repainted. Also, winter plants will be put in for the Winter along the entrance walls.
The next Board Meeting is scheduled on October 28, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fountains. If you plan to come and have a specific concern please contact VPM prior to attending the meeting. Homeowners are encouraged to attend and get involved in their community!

Architectural Review Committee
Homeowners making any structural changes to the exterior of their home should fill out an Architectural Improvement Application and Review Form and submit it to VPM prior to beginning any project. Please make sure to include sketches or plans and as much detail as possible.Homeowners needing ARC forms should contact VPM. The ARC meets the 1st Tuesday of each month.
Violations
Since the last inspection 218 violation letters were sent out.
Please keep in mind that if a violation is not corrected in the given amount of time, it will be turned over to an attorney for further action with a minimum cost of $75.00 billed to the homeowner.

Two New Board Members Needed

There are currently two new positions open on the Board of Directors. Anyone interested in serving on the Board should contact Vision Property Management or attend the October Board Meeting for more information. This is a great opportunity to get involved in your community and make a difference!

Pool News
Additional lighting has been added to the ramadas at the pool to decrease vandalism and provide more safety to the community. Pool decks will be resurfaced soon; bids are to be taken during October. Heating the pool year round was also discussed at the September Board meeting; a decision was not made at this time, but would probably increase HOA dues at least $1 more per month. Currently, the pool is heated September-November. Cleaning the pool less than seven days a week was also discussed. The Board may consider reducing cleaning the pool to five days per week during the winter months. If you have an opinion on this topic or any other community concerns please contact VPM or attend the October Board Meeting.
